The City of Denver’s Purchasing Division is responsible for the procurement of goods and services at Denver International Airport. The department provides biweekly notices about current bids, upcoming opportunities, and City meetings. These notices will also provide information about community resources. Although DIA officials denied a violation of Executive Order 8, which governs city contracts, they did say they have a program that enhances equity in the procurement process. This program also rewards concessionaires who provide excellent customer service and meet performance metrics. The program was approved by both the mayor and City Council.
